What we get called out for
Most jobs are one of these. If yours is not on the list, call and ask — it is usually something we handle.
What happens when you call
No call centre and no ticket number. You speak to the locksmith who is coming, and you know the price before any work starts.
You call
Tell us where you are and what is locked.
We come to you
The van carries the tools and key blanks, so the work happens where you are.
We check, then quote
A short check that the property or vehicle is yours, then the price for the job.
You are back in
Tested before we leave. You get the keys and the number of the person who did the job.
The part nobody explains
Four things we do on every job. They are not promotions — they are how the work is done, and you can hold us to them.
Picking before drilling
Non-destructive entry is attempted first. If a lock has to be drilled we tell you before starting, not after.
The price before the work
You hear what the job costs and agree to it before anything is opened, changed or replaced.
We check it is yours
A short ownership check on arrival, every time. It protects you far more than it inconveniences you.
Tested before we go
Locked and unlocked from both sides, with the door shut, before anyone drives away.
Where we work
A mobile service across ten Montgomery County towns. No shop to visit — we come to the door, the car or the unit.

Questions we get asked
The things people ask on the phone, answered before you have to.
Call (240) 293-0468Do you answer the phone at night?
Emergency work runs 24/7 on the same number. Lockouts do not happen at convenient times, so the line is answered outside working hours. Scheduled work is booked within our normal hours, 6am to 11pm, seven days a week.
Where are you based?
We are a mobile service, so there is no shop to visit. The van comes to you anywhere in the ten towns we cover, from Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village out to Laytonsville and North Potomac.
Can you make a car key with no key at all?
For most makes and models, yes. We cut and program a new key at the roadside. Tell us the make, model and year when you call and we will confirm before coming out.
Do I need a new lock, or can it be rekeyed?
If the lock is sound, rekeying is usually enough — the old keys stop working and you get new ones, and the hardware stays. A lock that is worn, damaged or too weak for the door is worth replacing instead.
Worth knowing before you call
The questions we answer on the doorstep, written down. No sales pitch — just what we would tell you if you asked.
Locked out, or planning ahead?
Either way it is the same number. Call and describe what has happened — you will get a straight answer about what is involved before anyone is sent out.
